As an IT Manager & Cloud Computing Expert (f/m/d), you play a central role in our IT team. You support both administrative IT tasks as well as the planning and implementation of our growing server and network infrastructure. You work on optimizing an international network for data-driven farms, which are monitored and analyzed using AI-driven processes. Your focus is on securing and managing decentralized data (such as image and time series data) and optimizing our cloud environments as well as security standards. Through your work, you ensure that this data is stored securely and efficiently on our central data platforms.
Your Responsibilities:
- Planning and Building Server Infrastructure: Manage and scale server infrastructure to support the growing demands of AI-driven agricultural processes.
- Network Management and Security: Develop and implement secure network protocols for the transmission and storage of real-time data, both in hosted environments and on self-managed servers.
- Cloud Computing Management: Plan and manage cloud-based infrastructures (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) with a focus on security and stability. Responsible for optimizing cloud resources and ensuring data protection.
- System Administration and Monitoring: Manage and monitor server and network components to ensure system availability, performance, and security.
- Data Integration and Centralized Storage: Integrate decentralized data sources into a central data platform and optimize processes for centralized data security.
Your Profile:
- Technical Education: Completed studies in Computer Science, Information Security, or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Professional Experience: Several years of experience in IT infrastructure management, particularly in server and network management within cloud environments.
- Cloud Computing Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and a solid understanding of cloud security architectures.
- Network Security Expertise: Experience in implementing security standards and protocols in a connected environment, preferably with an understanding of AI applications in industrial contexts.
- Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex IT challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Teamwork and Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and provide clear instructions.
