Automation Electrician (f/m/d)

As Automation Electrician, you will be responsible for building and maintaining automation technology to enhance vGreens’ production process. The focus here is on prototypes and subsequent production systems within the company’s own operations. 

In this role you will:

• Electrical configuration and continuous maintenance of various prototypes 
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues with a focus on existing and new prototype systems 
• Setting up standardized maintenance and operational protocols 
• Point of contact with suppliers of electrical systems 
• Hands-on mentality, capable of rapidly developing, setting up and iterating prototypes

Your profile:

• Degree as electrician with expertise in automation, electrical engineer with practical experience or related fields 
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in maintenance and reliability, ideally in an agile environment
• Experience in in the construction of control cabinets
• Advanced knowledge in the programming of real-time systems and experience with Raspberry PI
• Experience with EPLAN and Siemens TIA desirable
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, flexibility and teamwork
• Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English
• German language skills advantageous
• Travel readiness is desirable 

This role is full-time at our headquarters in Essen.
