As a working student in the IT department at vGreens, you will support us in the administration and development of the IT infrastructure in our data-driven farm. Your tasks will include administrative tasks as well as practical support in setting up and optimizing hardware and software systems. You will also have the opportunity to work on automation and programming projects and make our operational processes more efficient.
Your Responsibilities:
- Administrative IT support: Take over daily administrative IT tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Infrastructure management: Assist in building, maintaining and optimizing the IT infrastructure in our data-driven farm.
- Programming and automation (optional): Collaborate on programming solutions to connect various interfaces or automate recurring processes, ideally with Python.
Your Profile:
- Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an IT-related degree program (e.g. computer science) or comparable training (e.g. IT specialist).
- Experience: At least 2 years of practical experience in Python programming or a similar coding environment.
- Skills and competencies:
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Flexibility and a team-oriented, collaborative way of working.
- Very good written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage.
This role is part-time at our headquarters in Essen.
