vGreens and Fraunhofer UMSICHT launch project “inBerry”

Together with Fraunhofer UMSICHT vGreens is proud to announce the start of our latest project “inBerry”. Commissioned by Obst- und Gemüse-Absatzgenossenschaft Nordbaden eG and Obstgroßmarkt Mittelbaden eG, the project aims to take AI-driven future food production to the next level.

Set to run for several years “inBerry” focuses on further developing vGreens’ data-based and AI-controlled production system by using optical sensor technologies for quality determination. This includes the development of new indoor cultivation systems for other fruits like blueberries and raspberries.
