Robert Habeck enjoys vGreens Strawberries

We are very proud to say: Robert Habeck loves our strawberries! The Vice Chancellor and Minister for Economic Affairs gave his stamp of approval to our vGreens strawberries, fresh from our vertical farm in Essen, during an event at the BRYCK Tower on September 16, 2024.

During his visit to the Bryck startup center in Essen, Robert Habeck tasted our AI-driven strawberries, grown in a seven-meter-high vertical farm at the Triple Z startup hub. Germany’s largest regional newspaper, WAZ, covered the event in an article.

The article highlights vGreens’ role in pushing the boundaries of sustainable agriculture and showcases how our data-driven system optimizes CO2, light, and nutrients to grow strawberries year-round, in any location. With new labs opening in Singapore and Malaysia, we’re expanding our vision globally – delivering fresh, locally grown produce without the need for long transportation.
